Soccer 2011: The Finale

This past week, the Bustin' Blackberries concluded their 2011 soccer season with a decisive "win" over the Grape Crush. The team, while still chosing the "Giant Amoeba Following the Ball" game plan, improved greatly over the past 8 weeks. There were even 2 or 3 passes of the ball to teammates. Spectacular!

As the season went on, Noah proved to be quite the goalie!

This little man has some mad skills....and he KNOWS it!

I think Noah found a sport he can really get in to...

As many times as Alex hit the turf, he never complained....he is one tough kid!!!!

Check out THIS move!

Those little legs can really run!

What's the plan, Coach???

Just a small part of the "Amoeba" attacking itself!

Noah ALWAYS has time for the ladies!!!

Stay loose!

SHA-ZAM!

GO NOAH!

BIG kick!

GOOD GAME!

Then and Now

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....(ok...so really just in Noblesville)two little boys went to Stoney Creek Farm....

That was THEN...

This is NOW....

In early October, Opa, the boys and I went on our Annual Stoney Creek Farm outing. We started coming here when the boys were just 1 and 2 years old....boy have they changed. As much as I miss those SUPER ADORABLE toddlers, it is SO much fun now that they can explore, climb, run, create havoc all on their own!

Noah slid down the inside of the straw pile...I was so relieved when I saw his little head sticking out at the bottom!

My three favorite boys!

Teamwork in the pumpkin patch!

The weather was absolutely perfect for a hayride!

"He started it!"

GIANT bouncing pillow

Did you know pumpkins grow on trees????

Falling for Fall

To say that the weather has been FREAKIN' GORGEOUS would be a serious understatement. For two weeks, the sun has shone upon our little souls and fueled us with nothing but the passion to be outdoors! A couple of weekends ago, we spent some time at one of our favorite places, Holliday Park. I cannot believe how many pictures I have taken at this park over the years....It feels like every phase of the boys' growth is captured at Holliday Park somewhere. On this trip, Alex and I tossed the 'ol pigskin (ok...so synthetic football) around while Noah spent a long time on the swings making HIMSELF go higher and higher. Having children who can propel themselves on the swings is a true new-found freedom!

Alex...now climbing to the TOP of the "spiderweb."

Can you find Noah in this picture? Yes, folks, this IS Indiana!
A little rock hopping (without the rocks really) with amigo, E!

Sunshine, a river bed and three boys....the world is complete.
