"Howiday Pahk"

We LOVE Holliday Park!! In fact, it makes us SCREAM with excitement:

Where so Alex goes, so goes his thumb.....
Although this looks likes a sweet cuddle moment of mother and son, in reality, Alex is hiding behind my leg to escape the Tickle Monster known as Mr. Dan.

"I do it my new self!
We had a great Saturday in the park with Familia Willis and Coici Pam (are we international or what!!??). Thank you to Mr. Dan and Ms. Amy for assiting in the chasing (ie tiring out) of the boys! Thanks to Coici Pam for getting some GREAT photo shots!!!!!
We are sincerely hoping the weather will only warm up now--we have had a taste of the outdoors, and we are hungry for more!!!!!

Rockin' at My Buddy's Crib....Literally

On Sunday we had a fabulous dinner at Casa Willis. When we were TRYING to leave, we found Noah rockin' away in his BFF's big boy bed!

Guateposse On Ice

The only thing more daring than the Jamaican Bobsledding Team is the Guatemalan Preschool Ice Skating Team!!! But yes, folks, I witnessed it with my own eyes....there IS potential there!
We went ice skating with the local Ninos group on Sunday. Here are the boys looking darn right comfy in those skates.

When Noah was not screaming in sheer terror, this is how he spent his time on the ice:
Or...like this.....

What a difference 10 months can make: Alex actually got the hang of this pretty well!!!

The Phoenix

On Saturday, our poor Honda Odysey was struck by another vehicle that ran a red light. Thankfully we are all just fine, thanks to the beating the van took. Our dear amiga, The Dudicle Ms. Amy,came to our rescue, picked us up at the accident scene, calmed me down, and well....took us to the zoo. I mean, that WAS where we were heading, and what else do you do after a car wreck on a BEAUTIFUL Saturday morning???

Have I mentioned I LOVE my van?? That puppy takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin.' Well, it's not "tickin" so much right now, but I am sure the car hospital (as the boys call it) will fix him up like new. The Odysey will hereinafter be known as...THE PHOENIX as it rises from a heap of ashes, air bag and metal to a glorious (golden) mama-van once again. How appropriate that this all happened during Lent!!

"I forgot something"

Last night the boys were pretending to drive away in our car. Each one took turns standing up and yelling, "I'll be right back...I forgot something!" and then running into the other room. Gee, wonder where they got that from?????

Possibly the Cutest Post EVER!

This is just shamelessly ADORABLE. I mean, really...puppies and kids...how can you possibly beat that??

As you know, I volunteered with ICAN (Indiana Canine Assistance Network) before having kids, and I continue to stay a little in the loop. WELL, when we got the call that there were 5 week old puppies that needed to be exposed to small children, our little family dutifully rose to the challenge! (Puppies that are destined for service dog work need to be exposed to all kinds of different things when they are very young--including textures, sounds, smells, kids....etc.)

So, one blustery February morning, Coici and I loaded the boys for their initiation into service dog training. Here are some friggin' adorable pictures taken that morning:

Guess what 3-year-old took these pics??
