Could This Be The End?
No, really....this is a monutmentous moment in my short history of motherhood. I MAY HAVE JUST BOUGHT MY LAST BOX OF DIAPERS!!!!!! No, I have not decided to let Noah run around naked (although he would LOVE that). My "little" Noah has been doing tremendously well at potty training lately. In fact, this week he has been in underwear at school and has stayed dry all day! When he has to go, he marches himself into the potty and just takes care of business! Of course I will keep him in pull-ups during nap and at night, but I think my diaper buying days are over! WOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

A (School) Day in the Life of Noah
One of the things I totally love about the boys' school is that they send picture updates (I am sure the frequency will drop off once we get re-established, but for now I am loving it!) So, here is how Noah's day has been going today:
Perhaps he will grow up to be a tow truck driver?

An Engineer? (BTW: This is his teacher, Ms.
Mona, who we LOVE!)

An Artist??? um....not so much...seems that "dot art"
can be a tricky business.

School Daze
This week the boys went back to "school." Alex has officially started preschool, and Noah is just one class below. It has been interesting getting ready to leave the house in the morning--the boys are used to lounging around and eating breakfast. Now, I whisk them out of bed, into their clothes and into the car--they are handling it like troopers! The hardest part: I can't listen to NPR anymore on the drive to work--it's either Laurie Burkner or Thomas the Train music--ALL THE TIME!!!
The transition is going relatively well, although Noah is having a harder time of it--the first day he cried for two hours when I left him, but he was great the rest of the day. Yesterday he only cried for an hour! Progress??? When I pick him up, he is really happy and playing, so I don't think there will be permanent scars. What surprises me the most is that both boys are actually napping beautifully on their little cots!!!!
Alex is adjusting as well. He is happy to see Miss Cori, but he gets teary/whiney when I leave. Apparently that only lasts for a minute before he is off and playing. When I picked him up last night, he was playing trains (shocking!!!!) with two other kids and really having fun! As we left, he skipped down the hall singing "I'm a BIG kid!!!"

My Life as a Rockstar!!!!
I live the life of a rock star. It's true! I have wild hair and make-up with frequent costume changes. Everywhere I go I have an entourage. People are constantly yelling my name. I look our into the crowd and they're actually crying for me, reaching for me. I have no privacy. i'm watched when I shower, when I'm cooking, even when I use the restroom....for my own protection, I'm sure. When I go places I must do so quickly before my fans get out of control and start a riot. Every night a different guy wants to sleep with me. Each of them seems genuinely hurt when I turn him away. Occasionally I get dirty undergarments whirled at me with a whoop and a smile. It's even hard sometimes to walk through my own home without someone spotting me and trying to grab my legs or clothing. Oh, and don't forget about the stalkers! You know those crazed fans that follow you everywhere? Why, I can't even talk on the phone in the pantry without an eye or two peeping in at me. Yes it's true, I live the life of a rock star. and this goes out to my biggest fans, my kids. Thanks for making my debut so special!!!
