Back To School Fall 2011

The 2011-2012 school year has gotten off to great start. Both boys LOVE their respective schools! This is the first year that "The Geppert Brothers" are in separate schools and not together all day every day. I think it will be good for both of them.

Alex is now an official Kindergartener complete with nightly homework. Where has the time gone? I feel like it was just yesterday we were sitting at this same table with me trying to help Alex pick up cheerios in his stubby little fingers.

I cannot believe how MUCH both boys have already learned after 2-3 weeks in school. I am SO incredibly happy with the schools they are in, and there are NO complaints from them about going to school (so far!). Looking forward to a GREAT school year!!!

Soccer Season

With the heat index soaring into the upper 90's, soccer season is officially upon us here in The Middle! The team looks good this year--an international composition of mult-talented strikers and defenders. Our team uniform: Pitch black (seriously!!??). Our Team Name: UNKNOWN (Seriously!!??). No matter...we have the best coach this side of Meridian Street and enough enthusiasm to power a small country for a year.

Should be an interesting season. Noah is playing for the first time, and he seems to enjoy it. Alex and L are veterans on the team, and boy does it show--I think they have both been working on their moves during the off-season. GO___________!!!!!
