THE Sledding Post

To say that the boys are sledding maniacs would be an understatement. They OWN the hill, baby!!! At least the one at Holliday Park.....
We discovered this hill shortly before Christmas, and we had the good fortune to sled every day for a week--it was great!! The goal was to see how fast we could hurl a small child down the hill and over a speed bump. There was much smiling, laughing, and only a few minor boo boos--hey, it comes with the territory!

Rumor has it we are supposed to get hammered with an ice storm and maybe some snow. You can be sure that we will have our snow pants ready to go!!!!...uh...as soon as Mama patches up some sleds.....

Christmas Catch-Up

Afternoon at the Museum

This time of year is TOUGH when you have 2 energetic boys. The house simply cannot contain these two much longer. About all you can do when the weather is this yucky is Rivi, Library, Museum, Rivi, Library, Museum...Rivi, Library, Museum...etc. Well, we realized we had not been to the Museum lately, so we headed there after school yesterday for a little change of pace. Here is Noah literally laying down in the race car yelling, "Look Mommy, I can reach the pedals!!"

Alex is a puzzle/counting maniac! He can now count to 100 by 10's!

If we can't have the beach, then at least we can play in the water table!

...Add a little sandbox, and you can ALMOST pretend to be at the beach....ok....so not really.

Good thing the Museum has trains because Noah has NO trains at home at all...certainly not. [Note sarcasm--the child has about 4 miles of Thomas the Train track in the basement!]
