Wordless Wednesday-Christmas at the Zoo Edition

O Christmas Tree!

We had the BEST time picking out our Christmas tree this year. The Indiana School for the Blind has a fundraiser ONE DAY each year when they sell their Christmas trees from their home-grown little tree farm.

As the snow gently fell around us, we walked amongst the trees looking for "just" the right one. The boys loved seeing the "baby" trees that were recently planted, and I could not help but wonder if ONE day...one of those little seedlings would be our future Christmas tree. This place will DEFINITELY be our tradition.

No winter wonderland is complete without the arrival of the Big Man himself....SANTA! What a treat to be able to see the boys' faces light up when they got to talk to Santa AND Mrs. Claus!

Fun with Oma and Opa

While Oma and Opa were here during Thanksgiving, we went to the Eiteljorg Museum to see the train exhibit. While it was a nice exhibit, we spent more time in the downstairs in the kids' area.

CIRCUS

This past weekend we went to see the circus with our dear amigos Mr. Dan and Eddie, and Ms. Tracy and Alexandra. I think a great time was had by all!

One hour before the show, you can go down onto the floor and meet circus performers!

Noah got to sit on one of the SEVEN motorcycles that go around in a large steel ball!

Dear Autumn,

I love you for who you are WHEN you are here. However, I do NOT love the freezing season that follows you. Therefore, you and I have always had a love-hate relationship. So, I will make you a deal. You stick around until...oh...April, and we will get along just fine.

We know the winter is coming, so for now we will bathe in your all-too-short-sunny days and romp in your leaves. Thank you for fall fun....won't you stick around a little longer???
