Go Colts....sort of....

It's that time of year again: COLTS season! To kick off the season, a grand football fiesta was held at Casa Willis with Mr. Dan smoking a whole friggin cow for the event...
Who knew cows hatched from eggs...Green Egg, that is.....

The girls are in the house!

The Colts could have really used some of Eddie's moves in their dismal loss against the Texans....

Glorious day for outside game time

uh...that cake was SUPPOSED to be blue....

oh well.....
He almost fell asleep in the bowl.....

Hey Mr. Tangerine Man

With the coming on fall here in The Middle, comes another awesome sports season: SOCCER! Each Friday evening and Saturday morning, you will see gaggles of preschoolers take to the fields in an exhibition of lemming-like madness as they chase the ball in something that can only be called organized-chaos.

Alex's team, the TOUGH TANGERINES, is headed by their fearless (and VERY patient) Coach Will. Even Noah gets to practice with the team until the swings and playground call him away (usually only lasts about 7 minutes)
Doing some drills....

Alex is by far the shortest member of The Tangerines, but I must say, he is one of the most fierce.

And yes, that is my son getting his FIRST GOAL!!!!!!

TOUGH TANGERINES!!!
We are looking forward to a FABULOUS season of soccer with our dear amiga, Livi on the team as well as new amigo A.J.! In a few years, the Kenwood Krew will have their own soccer team--World Cup, here we come!

First Day of School 2010-11

Dear Boys,
Wow, another school year begins, and this year I find myself a little more teary-eyed than I expected. Perhaps it is because this is your first FULL year of "school" as official preschoolers. Perhaps it is because when I look at you now, I see less of the babies you were and more of the little boys you are becoming. Perhaps it is because you jumped into this day with excitement of a new beginning. Perhaps it is because I know that this year may be the last that you spend together in the same class. Your lives have been so intertwined, but I see you each starting to choose your own road. You are brothers and best buddies. You will always have each other, and I hope that the friendship you have found in each other will continue throughout your lives. I cannot wait to see what this year holds for both of you. Know that, no matter, Mama loves you and is VERY proud of her little "Geppert Brothers."

You are growing up my little men, and there is nothing Mommy can do about it....well, except to hang on and enjoy the ride. Q'alun et tzub!

Fiesta

This past weekend was our dear amigo, Eddie's 3rd birthday--where has the time gone? Even the 96 degree/99.9% humidity did not slow down this party--a fabulous time was had by all!
Alex with the Birthday Boy, Eddie. Brutus (the kitty) does not look amused!

Two boys, one train....this can't be good.

I think baseball has paid off!

Oh the concentration

Alex on baby patrol!

As you can see, this Fiesta gets 8 thumbs up!

Bad Fact

Alex kicked a ball in the house last night and knocked a glass bottle onto the floor. He covered his head, crouched on the floor and started yelling, "bad fact! bad fact!!"
