Wow, another school year begins, and this year I find myself a little more teary-eyed than I expected. Perhaps it is because this is your first FULL year of "school" as official preschoolers. Perhaps it is because when I look at you now, I see less of the babies you were and more of the little boys you are becoming. Perhaps it is because you jumped into this day with excitement of a new beginning. Perhaps it is because I know that this year may be the last that you spend together in the same class. Your lives have been so intertwined, but I see you each starting to choose your own road. You are brothers and best buddies. You will always have each other, and I hope that the friendship you have found in each other will continue throughout your lives. I cannot wait to see what this year holds for both of you. Know that, no matter, Mama loves you and is VERY proud of her little "Geppert Brothers."

First Day of School 2010-11
Dear Boys,
Wow, another school year begins, and this year I find myself a little more teary-eyed than I expected. Perhaps it is because this is your first FULL year of "school" as official preschoolers. Bad Fact
Alex kicked a ball in the house last night and knocked a glass bottle onto the floor. He covered his head, crouched on the floor and started yelling, "bad fact! bad fact!!"

Movie Night
Our dear neighbors (don't start "tearing" things up again, Mary!) invited us over for a MOVIE NIGHT last night. We started off with a wonderful feast of pizza and salad. The boys were (strangely) not hungry...perhaps it was all the running around that needed to be done. "The Babies" came over as well with their Mommy and Daddy, so there was way too much to do besides eating. I will say, however, I believe we three Mama's actually got about a solid 15 minutes to have adult conversation!!! (Thanks to Mr. Andy and Mr. John for kid wrangling!!!)
We then retired into the basement for a movie extravaganza complete with popcorn, Twizzlers (YUM!), Swedish Fish and Gummie Worms (which, I just realized, never even got opened!). The ladybug tent was set up and all little people had their pillow pet friends to snuggle upon. We settled in for a nice....relaxing .....quiet evening.....HA!
By the time the movie was over, Alex was half asleep on my lap, Livi was settled on the floor, but Noah and Maddie were still going strong arguing over who got to play with various toys. All in all, a great way to spend the evening! Good Movie, GREAT Friends...Awesome Times!
